The Trekker is ideal for dual sport and adventure touring and offers the comfort of riding without goggles; but when the going gets rough, you can still have the option to flip up or remove the shield and throw on a pair of goggles.

Hi-Vis is my 'new black'

The Trekker is a light helmet that i can use goggles with. i love it. the peak works well as it gives relief from sun strike but is smaller than an MX helmet so the wind blast on the road is less- easier on the neck. This is my first non-Shoei helmet in years. I bought a more expensive black Shoei Hornet Dual Sport helmet but found that the peak / beak is useless. I couldn't see it and so it provided no shade from the sun even if I dipped my head. It felt like a road helmet and the peak was only cosmetic. It took a mind shift to go from buying a $500 helmet that you keep for 5+ years to the buying a $200 and keep it for 2 years approach. Within the month I had changed to this Trekker and sold my Shoei. For road use the Hi-Vis is fantastic. I can see car drivers spot me and react much further out. And after a week or two your friends stop giving you a hard time over its brightness. Highly recommended.
