I love this helmet!

The vents are terrific, the lights in the rear give me increased peace of mind while riding at night and the batteries are very easy to change. The visor is easily cleaned with water and a paper towel. I rarely if ever experience any fogging. The only downside for me is the tip of my big nose presses up against the front pad (personal issue). Shipping was incredibly fast, and I love the tinted visor and tinted rear light plate that come with it.

Hidden gem

This brand is a hidden gem. This is my second Gmax helmet, and I can't believe the price. Don't let the bargain price fool you... Gmax is a quality brand. Granted, I've never had a crash in a Gmax, but it feels as solid and well-made as any higher-priced helmet I've ever owned.

Good: -Price
-Quality
-Quieter than I expected
-Snug, safe fit
-Look at all those vents
-Rear LED lights add visibility

Bad: -Gmax logo decal is unattractive (though not obnoxious)
-Rear LED lights are not in water-tight compartment: rain will enter and short lights
-Rear LED lights are gimmicky or cheesy to some people.

UPDATE: Wireless module to make the LED a "third brake light" IS available, sold separately.

Nonetheless, I love Gmax helmets. Very high value.

In short: not the lightest, quietest, sexiest brand going, but absolutely the best value going. Good fit, lots of vents, and unique rea r LEDs that add visibility but cannot be wirelessly linked to brakes.

Great lightweight Helmet

I just purchased this helmet a few weeks ago in Black. It's my first helmet ever. I had it fitted at a local shop. My head measures XL but that did not fit the XXL was perfect. The air flow is great. The visor is almost invisible. Very lightweight in my opinion. Great Helmet. I was able to get it for $99.00
