Great gloves, but they run small

First the warning - these gloves run small. I don't have long fingers, but my right thumb was mashed against the end of the glove when using the throttle. Order a size larger than you normally get (unless you are used to motorcycle gloves running small).

As for the rest of the review, these gloves are great! I tried them today on a 50+ mile run. The outside temp was 42 degrees F according to the thermometer in my carport. On the high setting, these gloves were too warm for local riding! At 75 on the highway, they were perfect on high with absolutely no coldness. These are designed for motorcycling - they are hottest on the back of your hands and fingers where the cold wind contacts the glove. You can actually use that to your advantage by straightening your fingers or riding with them resting on the clutch/brake levers. That brings your fingers closer to these heating elements and makes them warmer. Note that these do have heating elements in the fingers; no t all heated gloves do. I would be fine wearing these down into the mid 30s at least, but seldom ride if it is colder than that.

The batteries are pretty small. They are two small lithium ion batteries per glove and they fit into a small zippered pocket in the gauntlet under your wrist. You really don't notice the weight or bulk at all. The gloves are windproof and are supposed to be waterproof and breathable, but I could not test that.

I would definitely recommend these gloves.

Update after 6 weeks: These are definitely one of the best purchases I ever made and now I only wish I had ordered them sooner. I have used these down to 29 degrees F. My hands were not toasty warm, but they only felt as cool as you would expect on a crisp Fall day. They make my rides much more comfortable and safer too. Since my hands are warm, I have greater dexterity and quicker reaction time to squeeze the brake and/or clutch (when my hands are freezing, my han ds move slower). In short, I love these gloves!

Pretty Good - Venture Battery Heated Gloves

These Venture battery heated gloves are good, but not perfect. They are very convenient, and work well on my daily motorcycle commute, but do not get 'VERY' warm. They just get 'pretty' warm which is good enough for weather in the 40's. I like battery gloves because I can hop on either of my bikes without having to 'hook up' to them. I just turn the gloves on and go. I charge them once every three days and always use them on the 'high' setting in temps below 50*. You can probably expect 3-4 hours on high before a charge is needed. I was able to do 200-250 mile days with a little left over on a recent trip.

The quality seems 'pretty good' as well. They've held up well although the 't' in Venture has fallen off, but for me it's function over form in this case. The gloves are very soft comfortable on the hands inside. Overall recommended if you are okay with the limitations of a battery powered glove.

Edit: Meh, the quality of the gloves has wo rn on me. The little tightening straps broke off and the nice finish of the palm pads are wearing.

Expensive but worth it

They say you get what you pay for and this is true with these gloves. No, they don't get hot but they are comfortably warm. Great build quality and they're pretty cool looking too. Battery charging is simple and idiot proof and they warm up very quickly.
