They are a great...ALLROUND BOOT

These are called Allround boots for a reason. I recently used them for a 900 mile trip that had me in warm climates and 6000+ ft cold mountain climate. My feet were never hot nor cold. Also, these boots are comfortable enough to walk around in all day, even in the snow (they are rain-proof). This comfort comes only AFTER you break the boot in, these are made of thick durable leather and need to be walked in for a few hours to give. NOW THE CAVEATS: Your feet may very likely sweat, so you will need to change your socks daily. If your socks do not go all the way past the top of the boot, the top seam will irritate your skin (the PRO version of this boot is higher and has a plush lining that prevents this irritation...it is also $100 more!). Before the boot is fully broken in, you will have trouble getting the boot under your shift lever, THIS WILL GO AWAY WHEN THE BOOT BREAKS IN. I got mine from MAX BMW and they took good care of me and gave me a great price!
