Most Comfortable Helmet

This helmet is fantastic. The bluetooth works perfectly and isn't hard to set up. The volume is loud enough for me and you don't have to yell into the mike it picks up everything I say. The size chart is very accurate I purchased a Small thinking the chart might be slightly off but it wasn't. Turns out I actually did need an X-Small but I kept this one as a back up as it fits like a glove when I put a knit hat on. The sun visor was also a great addition, I wear glasses but I'm sensitive to light. The second I put that visor down it really is no different then a $100 pair of shades.

Great helmet for the price.

This helmet is by far the best bang for your buck. Dont expect theatre quality sound but its a world better than listening to your bike running at 6,000 rpm. Fit and finish isn't perfect like a $300 helmet, but it feels nice and works great. It has some wind howl at higher speeds but you can always turn up the tunes. The sun visor is really nice and you can leave your sunglasses at home. I ride year round in Seattle and it fogs up pretty easy but if you keep it cracked it clears pretty quick between lights in town. When you talk on the phone you have to kind of yell but it cuts out a lot of the wind and road noise.

The battery lasts for quite a while. I ride about 30 min a day (give or take) and the charge lasts me a week. I rarely make phone calls and dont have the music very loud. I want to still hear traffic too in case I have to react to any of the idiots out there. Had no problems pairing it to my iPhone 3GS. You can hit the multi function button an d voice dial and turn you music on and off without taking your phone out of your pocket. Hard to tell if the vents are open or closed but it doesn't get stuffy with them closed.

Bought this for $169 + tax. Since a chatter box system cost over $200 WITHOUT the helmet you can't beat the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

decent helmet

i'd say this helmet is a good bargain, but haven't used it long enough to know how well it holds up. i like the bluetooth, synced easily with my android. i now have turn by turn directions, tunes, and phone access while riding, but the audio quality isn't premium, lacks bass so a true audiophile will be disappointed. then again i no longer have a wire to my phone and now i'm truly hands free. on top of that i got the drop-down shaded shield for those days i forget my sunglasses. not planning on testing the effectiveness of the helmet, i hope the DOT lab did that for me. the one downside is it seemed to want to fog a bit on me, but then so did my last helmet. size seemed a bit large, compared to kbc it ran larger even with both manufactures' size charts matching.
