Great warm weather boot

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this boot.
My prerequisites was to have a true motorcycle boot. That had good protection thoughout. That the boot will be used exclusively for warm weather riding, so I was looking for a boot that provided good air flow. That the boot be easily donned and doffed. Since the weather can not be controlled If I could find a boot that had all of the previously mentioned qualities and was waterproof.
This was the boot that I ended up purchasing.
It was worn for daily for 7 weeks, as I traversed Mexico 18 months ago.
I had many opportunities to test the sturdiness of the boot on several slow speed get offs. (Manouvering a fully loaded KLR on trails not fit for a wheeled vehicle)
I was caught in torrential down pours several times.
Rode many kilometers with temps in the upper 30's C.
The boot performed flawlessly. Even is fine for walking reasonable distances in.
In fact it has been the best su mmer riding boot I have ever owned (37+ years of riding). I continue to wear the same pair for the past two seasons, (45,000 kms.) The soles are beginning to show signs of wear.
This all being said, these boots ares so good that I am about to purchase a second pair for when the soles on this pair wears out.
Plus, I want to have a pair on 'stand-by' just in case they are stopped being made.
