Xelement Leather Motorcycle Jacket with Level-3 Armor

Considering the price, I was surprised by the excellent quality of this jacket. The leather is thick but soft, and the armor is unobtrusive enough that it doesn't make me look like a linebacker. It's removable if you want to go without it, but I bought this for protection not fashion so I'm leaving them in.

Sizing is generous. I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, 38-29-41, with broad shoulders and long arms. I'm a size 10/12, and usually wear a medium or large in jackets depending on the brand. Going by reviews on LeatherUp's site I ordered up to XL which was HUGE on me. Exchanging for a L was easy and fast, but the L is still roomy. Wearing it over a t-shirt I can pull the ties tight on both sides and still have room to spare - and it's plenty big in the chest and shoulders as well. However, it will fit great over a hoodie so I'm keeping it for cold weather and getting a M for warm. Sleeves come down to about 1.5 inches past my wrists, long enough not to suddenly be too short while riding. There's a zip-out liner and zippered vents on the front, sleeves, and back to let air flow through.

A final note: the jacket is very heavy. Don't try hanging it on a cheap plastic hanger - it will likely crash to the floor, waking you up in the middle of the night and making you think someone's broken into your house. Ahem. :P

A little too big

Jacket was good quality. Had lots of pockets and even had a little padding in the lower back part of the jacket. I ordered a medium which is what I wear in all jackets but this was too big and bulky so unfortunately I had to return it. The shipping was fast and the return process was very easy and quick. Hated that I had to return the jacket. Other than it being too big, it looked and felt really nice.
