great coat good value, BUT the sizing runs very small, Ive just grown into a 4x and still is a little big, so ordered an 8x, and IT FITS even a little big, I can wear a sweatshirt under it, until it gets wet, and shrinks some

Exactly what I was looking for

I've been wearing a jacket of a similar design with a nylon shell for a few years, and wished I had something a little more substantial for cold-weather riding. This jacket matched the style of the nylon jacket, but provides a lot better insulation, with sturdier construction, and excellent materials. The style is classic but unique enough not to be played out. The snaps and zippers are high quality. The zip-out liner is comfortable. I've seen jackets with fatal flaws that cost twice this much. In short, it's an excellent value, and it fits my needs perfectly.

I've ridden in below-freezing temperatures so far with only a few cotton and polyester layers underneath, and have been so comfortable I haven't felt the need for a heated liner. I've only ridden in a little drizzle, but this jacket hasn't left me soggy and chilled. Paired with some chaps with snap-in quilted liners, I'm able to ride every day the streets aren't icy, all winter long.
