10 dollar head - 10 dollar helmet

i like motorcycle helmets. i dont know why, but i have several. dirt bike helmet. open face helmet. beanie helmet. and now full carbon fiber bell star helmet.
i read about this and saw one at some motorcycle show early this year. looked around and eventually ended up ordering one.
even spent the extra scratch and got that photo-sensitive visor that changes from clear to dark depending on the sun.

and overall i can say:

money well spent.

the helmet fits nice. its light. and very comfortable. the interior is soft. ive worn it alot and have no complaints. the vents work well. the chin strap has a magnet in it to keep the end from whipping your neck in the wind. it looks really good with the matte finish over the carbon fiber. bell did it right.

spend the extra money and get it.
thats a really nice thing.
works very well. never had it fail or anything.
and not much to say about it.
its crystal clear when it needs to be, and darkens up as it needs to.
worth the money, especially when your already spending some decent coin on a helmet like this on.
