The Women's Field Armor Stryker vest features all of the same construction and CE certification standards as the men's version but has been retailored for a woman's fit. The back armor plate has been made slightly shorter by changing to a five or six plate arrangement. Additionally, the midriff and velcro adjustment straps have been rescaled for a proper fit. Of course the main function of the vests back protector, enhanced protection, remains intact as the women's version meets applicable CE certification standards for back protectors.

Love it! 2 cons . . . price of course and the cut of the chest protector. Now that i have worn it (many times) i feel its worth the price. as for the chest protector, i'm referring to the shape just forward of the armpit. Im a B cup and the edge of the vest runs down the side of my boobs. make since? if i had bigger girls they would be exposed! I don't like the chest protectors that have Barbie molded boobs, so i can live with the man styled flat plate. I'm a size 12/14 and got the Lg/XL. fits perfect (other than the V styled chest protector). It adjusts at 4 points and you can take it off with one hand, gloves on and without pulling overhead. Anyway, i mainly got it so that id have some protection while riding in the 110 degree desert and that it would hold my shirt down. it does both. it doesn't shift when i rotate or constrain my movements in any way, but i still get good airflow. the spine flexes enough to adjust to your curve. In the fall i have been wearing it under a hoodie and love the versatility of that (not having to tote a heavy jacket around). the velcro is good and i believe it will hold up over time. it would be cool if it had a secure electronics pocket, but who really needs that when your out riding?
