3Not what I expected from the reviews
By JohnRobert Wilson
Probably going to sound like an old man with this one but wow this thing just doens't compare to my old jacket. I was hoping from the reivews Xelement would be a decent jacket, especially since Fieldsheers had horrible reviews when I bought mine, and often times still do. The reviews for Xelement jackets are really decieving, or people have just come to accept lower quality items now days.

My first Leather Jacket was a Fieldsheer that I got 11 years ago. Sadly the zippers are failing, and considering I paid $140 for it I figured it wasn't worth the cost of repair. After I got this jacket I wish I would have.

The padding in this thing is wimpy thin. maybe 1/4" compared to the 1" of plastic foam lamenate on my Fieldsheer. I would not trust my life to these pads. Luckily most of my old pads fit this new jacket.

The leather is ok, not as thick as the fieldsheer I'd say 1.2-1.4 mil...the seams are pretty shabby. As for fit. Well I'm 5' 10" and 160lbs with broad shoulders and my old Jacket is a large 42". So reading the reviews here I took a chance getting a large worrying it would be too big... sadly I don't think I have the same girth as the other reviewers, this thing is HUGE. I'd say if you aren't packing a tire around on your mid-section stick to your normal size.

5Awesome jacket
By Scott
This is a great riding jacket. It is plenty warm. I have never even had to put in the included liner yet and I live in Wisconsin. It fits snug and the brown parts in the picture are reflective at night. I have gotten many compliments on this jacket when I wear it.

5Perfect for ridin and normal use
By Andres Q.
The wind won't go into your chest. Is more heavy than regular jackets. I'm 1.87m and 200lb and the L-size went perfect.
